EHCOView permits people to have access to reports from anywhere in your
organization and eliminates the necessity of having to provide copies of
reports to different people, since all the reports/documents are online. This
application pays for itself quickly in paper cost and distribution savings.
All reports are stored on the hard drive of the server, and due to the
compression used it can hold years of reports before the purging or archiving
to CD ROMs is needed.
We have an animated GIF demonstration of this
application. The file is about 130,000 bytes and will be displayed on your
browser. The quick demo loops until you exit that page. In the demo you will
see:
- How a report is picked and then a date is selected.
- How you can zoom in and out once you are looking at the report. The
default auto-font can be set to fit the report in the window and/or
printed page.
- How you can search for a word and automatically mark all instances.
Once marked, you could export all the matches to a spreadsheet, etc.
This demonstration illustrates the client/server version specifically, but the
process is analogous for the web-based version. Feel free to
