Six modules are presently available for ClinREACH:
- ChartREACH - view patient
charts under ClinREACH. Chart information is collected nightly and sent to
the ClinREACH server via FTP, where it is parsed and converted to PDF
format. The charts can be viewed by department or as a whole.
- FormREACH - manage standard forms
such as UB92 under ClinREACH. The form templates are archived in PostScript
format, and the information can be filled in online. The completed form is
then synthesized from the template and the user-supplied information, converted
to PDF format, and can be stored or printed as needed.
- LabREACH - view discrete lab results
under ClinREACH. Verified test results are sent to the ClinREACH server every
7-10 minutes, organized by test type and result time, and color coded based on
whether the value is low, high, critical, or normal. One click on the result
opens a window with full ordering and result information, and with just a few
clicks the results from multiple tests can be graphed over a period of time.
Microbiology culture summaries and anatomic pathology reports can also be
collected and organized with the general lab results.
- OrderREACH - place laboratory orders
from physician's offices, or from anywhere, on the web. OrderREACH interacts
with the hospital's interface hub to create orders and even to register
patients, if desired. Security is controlled by role and by practice, and the
default requisition form can be easily customized for each practice. Patient
demographic data can also be automatically imported from select physician
practice systems to ease order creation and patient registration.
- EHCOView - view management reports
online. In Cerner, the nightly-generated reports are sent automatically to a
server instead of printing them. Available as a module for ClinREACH
and also as a standalone application for a LAN, EHCOView will save on paper,
printer maintenance, and distribution costs.
- Residency Program Administrator - automates
and streamlines the administration of academic residency programs.
