ChartREACH Product Summary ChartREACH is a module for ClinREACH for viewing patient charts on the web. The chart information is collected nightly from Cerner or non-Cerner sources and sent to the ClinREACH server via FTP, where it is parsed and converted to PDF format. The charts can then be viewed by department or as a whole. ChartREACH Product Details ChartREACH provides for internet or intranet acquisition of charts from Cerner and non-Cerner sources. The output is made available via a dedicated server PC with ClinREACH installed. Charts are sent to the PC nightly, indexed by keywords, and saved in a compressed format. The front end retrieval interface is customized for your site, and is equipped with search capabilities, including keywords and even phrases. The end user sees the original report as originally created; the format used is PDF, which can be viewed on the web page as a plugin available from Adobe which has an intra-document search capability. ChartREACH provides flexible security; an administrator at your site can easily restrict users by chart section and client number. Accesses are also automatically logged by user, document accessed, and date/time in case your site needs to review this information for security reasons or to see which charts have not been reviewed. next
