Blood Utilization Report This report is rapidly taking the place of all of our other BloodBank reports. It comes equipped with 3 modules, each of which are highly customizable. Each month, a data gathering program collects only the information needed by the active modules, and saves the information external to Cerner's databases. The data is kept online indefinitely. The available modules include: CTMS: Crossmatch/Transfusion ratio by Medical Specialty - this module organizes data on product usage (the number of orders, issues, and transfusions) and calculates the crossmatch/transfusion ratio by doctor and medical specialty. FDXPG: Final Disposition by Product Group - thie module summaries product dispositions by disposition reason and by user-defined product groups (like irradiated RBC's). XFOUT: Transfusion Outlier - this module prints detailed information on transfusions which do not meet acceptable criteria for transfusions, as based on lab results. The criteria are user-modifiable.
